The 2-day intensive training program certifies individuals from a variety of disciplines (including, educators, and heath care specialists) to teach the two L.E.A.N. Programs, L.E.A.N. Start and L.E.A.N. Essentials.
L.E.A.N. Coach Training Program
The L.E.A.N. Coach (LC) training program gives a coach the knowledge and skills necessary to teach both of the L.E.A.N. Programs in a variety of diverse settings, such as wellness centers, medical centers, parent groups, doctors offices and corporations. L.E.A.N. Coach Candidates (LCC) will master Dr. Sears’ simple, yet successful approach to developing the four pillars of health (lifestyle, exercise, attitude and nutrition). The training focuses on educating the LCC about nutrition fundamentals, effective and fun teaching strategies, as well as business building ideas and resources. Training includes lectures, group interaction, role playing, food preparation skills and certification exams.

L.E.A.N. Coach Certification
In order to be certified as a L.E.A.N. Coach and licensed to teach this program, a certification exam is given on the final day of on-site training. This exam consists of both a written exam and a practicum. A passing grade must be achieved. Upon successfully completion of exam, candidates will receive certificate of completion.
Parent materials (including guides, books and DVDs) are required for courses taught by Certified L.E.A.N. Coaches and are made available through the The L.E.A.N. Group, LLC. Additionally, CLCs are encouraged to provide pre- and post-assessment data to The LEAN Group, LLC.

Annual Re-Certification Fee, after first year $145.00

L.E.A.N. Coach Training Registration Process
Step 1: Complete enrollment form
Step 2: Return completed form via fax or email
Step 3: Receive confirmation and agreement from The LEAN Group, LLC.
Step 4: Return via fax the agreement and payment authorization form
